Or should I say mis hermanita bonita! As of today, you have already spent 3 nights in the CCM. You are basically Mexican now. I'm pretty sure the same thing happened with Joseph Smith's brother. His real name was Carl, until he spent 3 days in the CCM. Then they had to change his name to Don Carlos.
How are you liking the schedule and daily activity? What is your favorite part so far? What is something you've discovered this last week? (Hopefully it's not Tommy the tapeworm!)
I cried most of the day Thursday after dropping you off. Thought I got it all out until I found the sweet note you left me in my laptop. WELL PLAYED. You are so thoughtful and sweet. In fact Nata also found the note you left her and started crying as well.
I am so proud of you. What an amazing adventure you are on.
How is your Spanish coming along? Is it cool being in the CCM?
Hang in there. With every day, you move forward. Don't give up on yourself, and be the friend to yourself, that the Savior is to you. Give yourself grace, especially as god give all.
As you may or may not know, this last Weekend was Stake Conference. It was really good. I liked everyone but the wife of the Seventy speaking to us. When she spoke, her voice changed into "fake talk voice" and I had a difficult time taking her seriously. Besides that my fav part was they had the Samoan ward as the Choir. They even sang in Samoan. It was mayor el pepino, como un lion tras un raton!
Mom also has an appointment with the Stake Presidency tomorrow. Pretty sure they are going to make her a Sr. Stake President. We shall see.
Overall things are going well here.
Right now I am listening to "I Know that my Redeemer Lives," in Spanish. It is so beautiful. This is the message you get to share. So many live in darkness, without hope. "How beautiful upon the mountains are those that publish peace." Who share the light of hope!
