Dear Hermanacutehair,

I taught Sunday School. Nata is my best student. Hadley is my second best. Brother Iverson is my best hiding-from-Bonnie's-lesson student.

Bryson moved home on Thursday, but then he went back to Logan. He still trying to find a job. So we will see what he ends up doing.

Uncle Brian, Ashlee and Tyler finished the roof. Mason and Alexa helped a lot as well. It looks great. It was nice to have family time with them.

Mason is memorizing the Gettysburg Address. It is really long and tricky to memorize. He is almost done. He got made that I was eating a cooking instead of giving him my full undivided attention. I hope we can all learn to not give up when things are hard and to not blame everyone else.

I love you. I'm proud of you!

Love,

Mom

Here is some of my Sunday School lesson:

Doctrine and Covenants 41:1 God delights to bless us Guide to the scriptures: Bless, Blessed, Blessing. To confer divine favor upon someone. Anything contributing to true happiness, well-being, or prosperity is a blessing. All blessings are based on eternal laws (D&C 130:20–21). Because God wants His children to find joy in life (2 Ne. 2:25), He grants blessings to them as a result of their obedience to His commandments (D&C 82:10), in answer to a prayer or priesthood ordinance (D&C 19:38; 107:65–67), or through His grace (2 Ne. 25:23). A well-known list of statements about blessedness is the Beatitudes (Matt. 5:1–12; 3 Ne. 12:1–12). God said He would delight to bless us with His greatest blessings. What do you think that was for the Saints? What could that be for you? Did you notice that many blessings are granted as a result of our actions? Some are a result of our obedience to His commandments, some are an answer to a prayer or a priesthood ordinance, and some are just through His Grace. Story of my friend being inspired to know what to pray for and then having her prayer answered. Her receiving peace counts as her being blessed with His greatest blessings. Seek the guidance of the Holy Ghost so we will know what to include in our prayers. The Holy Ghost can teach us to pray and guide us in the things we say. He can help us pray "according to the will of God." -Prayer Topics and Questions Guide to the Scriptures: Curse, Curses. In the scriptures, a curse is the application of divine law that allows or brings judgments and their consequences upon a thing, person, or people primarily because of unrighteousness... a cursed state is experienced by those who willfully disobey God and thereby withdraw themselves from the Spirit of the Lord. The Lord may remove curses because of the individual's or people's faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel (Alma 23:16–18; 3 Ne. 2:14–16; A of F 1:3). So curses are the consequences of our actions and of us willfully disobeying and thereby withdrawing ourselves from the Spirit. Story of Kaitlynn wanting Craig's email and his response in receiving it.

After the grumpiness, we told him to go pray until he felt better. This is what happened. (photo) After his 45 minute pray nap I woke him up and we are going to try again. Love you!
