Week 6. An earthquake triggered a tsunami warning for Punta Arenas while the missionaries happened to be away for zone conference - the timing was "no coincidence." The tsunami reached only ~3 feet because the area is surrounded by islands. Beat the Jehovah's Witnesses to a member's door. President Gervic complimented her Spanish.

Hermana White's advice: never apologize for your Spanish in a lesson - apologizing can break the Spirit.
Almost missed their plane to zone conference because someone forgot their passport (2 of last 4 to board).
At zone conference, told the timing was not coincidental: an earthquake hit Punta Arenas and a tsunami was coming while they were away. Reached only ~3 feet due to surrounding islands. "God loves us!"
Did a blitz [temporary cross-sector work] in Alercia - taught the best First Vision lesson she'd had.
Brought an investigator with a fecha to church; a ward member started "grilling him."

Spiritual Thought

D&C 42:14 - "If ye receive not the Spirit ye shall not teach." President Nelson: "When you reach up for the Lord's power in your life with the same intensity that a drowning person has when grasping and gasping for air, power from Jesus Christ will be yours." Prayer is the first step; then you have to get up and work. Spanish closes: "HAY QUE BAUTIZARSE NO MAS!" [We just need to get baptized, that's it!]
