Week 17. Zone conference in Puerto Montt; said goodbye to President Gervic (concluding his tenure). Their dueña [landlady] gave short notice that they had to move. District helped them move on Saturday. An electrician asked if they really needed the lights fixed.

Week Highlights (covers only the latter half of the week - she has no memory of the early part)
- Zone conference in Puerto Montt - never seen so much smoke in her life (wood smoke common in southern Chile).
- Said goodbye to President Gervic. He is ending his mission presidency.
- Returned home; dueña told them they were being asked to move immediately.
- Moved houses with the entire district's help. Dueña supervised and gave running commentary on their packing technique.
- The district is now closer-knit; they are "mama bear and papa bear" who would fight off scary grandmas.
- Church sacrament meeting "has never hit so hard." Relief Society great.
- An electrician came to fix their lights; after determining it would be difficult, asked if they really needed the lights fixed.
- Entrevistas [interviews] with President Gervic - will miss him and Hermana Gervic.
Spiritual Thought
3 Nephi 20:8 - "He that eateth this bread eateth of my body to his soul; and his soul shall never hunger nor thirst, but shall be filled." On feeling empty and the Sacrament as weekly nourishment. "Go to church besties." Recommends "We Can Do Hard Things through Him" (GC Oct 2022).
