Dear HermanationofChile,
Your celebration of Chile looks so fun! I was so proud of your three legged race skills. That is the daughter I've raised you to be! Was the whole zone there or just your district?
I finished assembling all the shirts for the PTA fundraiser. I have been working on that every night for five or six hours. It has been exhausting, but I always am happy to serve. It has been cool to be able to catch mistakes and problems that would've caused a lot of problems. Heavenly Father has blessed me with a lot of gifts and talents, and I love to be able to use them to bless others. I think there's a lesson in this for all of us. What gifts and talents have we each been blessed with and how are we using them to bless others? And are we OK to have our own gifts and not someone else's? Do we recognize that having different gifts is a gift? Can we stop being jealous and just celebrate each other?
Heavenly Father has been really good this week to send me a lot of personal messages - in very unique and personal ways to me. The coolest part is that the people that delivered them had to question why they had to do it or why they had to do it in that particular way. I loved that they were willing to be weird or uncomfortable so that I could get the message I needed to hear.
Treyson is being set apart as a missionary right now. What an exciting time for their family. This will be really good for all of them.
My Aunt Grace died this week. I hesitated, but reached out to cousin Polly her daughter. She hasn't responded to me the past two or three times I've reached out to her. But she did respond this time. We were able to text back and forth. I felt like I was able to give her the love and support and understanding she needed. I was grateful to be able to be the person to deliver the message to her. But I would not have been able to be that person if I hadn't spent all these years trying. Trying without seeing the fruits of my labors. Trying because I love her. I hope you never stop trying to do what Heavenly Father wants you to do. Even when you aren't seeing the fruits. Trust in Him and His beautiful plan.
I love you! I'm proud of you. Heavenly Father and Jesus love you and are proud of you!
Love,
Mom
Repentance is an act of worship. Because it is bringing us closer to the Savior. What ways do we personally choose to worship?
