Week 31. First email explicitly naming Presidente Mackay. Zone conference; this month's theme: "Mind" (alma, corazón, mente, fuerza - heart, strength, mind, soul into the work). Did a blitz with Hermanas Limailla and Lobo. Going to the volcano again on P-day.

Week Highlights

Tuesday: Asked long-term investigators why they hadn't been baptized despite attending church and having baptized children. Answer: hard to believe, still open. Then ate leche con plátanos [banana milk] - "my favorite thing in the world."

Wednesday (Zona Conference): "I love Presidente Mackay!" [First explicit name.] Zone focus: putting all heart, strength, mind, and soul into the work. This month: Mind. Alma 17:2-3.

Thursday: Street contacting and door knocking. Helped a ward youth with English homework.

Friday (Blitz): To another sector with Hermanas Limailla and Lobo. Got to go with Hermana Limailla; knocked many doors; had a member walk with them for an hour.

Saturday: Invited an investigator to pray about baptism and recognize the answer.

Sunday: Nice weather; walked to church. Recent convert said she might not return due to social anxiety - ward praying for her. Lunch with a funny family; once with their ward mission leader.

Monday (P-day): Going to the volcano again.

Spiritual Thought - Paso a Paso

Mission and conference theme: aligning your will with God's. Advice from Presidente Mackay: take it one step at a time. The little things build everything. References Alma 37:6 and D&C 123:16-17.
