Dear HerMANchaser,
Dad and Mason are in Washington DC for Mason's 6th grade trip. I'm excited for them and their America adventure.
Anya had her farewell today. She did such a great job. It was the best farewell her family has had yet. Kielle, Anya and the dad talked and Kirsten sang.
I invited Anya to go to the temple with me on Friday. Hopefully that will work.
Ashley is sad all of her friends are going to be gone. :(
I love you! I'm proud of you! Heavenly Father loves you.
Love,
Mom
(Appended notes) Do not limit the Lord because you may feel inferior or unworthy of his attention. He loves you. He has a plan for you. He sees you. If we would have spiritual strength, we should expect heavy trials for growth. What do you tell them when what they thought the future was going to be has changed? We tell them thank you, to trust the Lord and to look forward. Marriage is one choice we should be selfish when we make it. "I will never be the perfect missionary. That is the beauty of life. We get to fail. We get to learn." -Anya
(Song lyrics shared: "Flowers" by Samantha Ebert, 2025 - about trusting that "flowers grow in the valley," that God is "holding a watering can" through seasons of waiting and pain.)
