Kaitlynn Weekly Email - Casí la mitad y todavía no sé que estoy haciendo
Snapshot
Near the halfway point of her 18-month mission. Subject: "Almost halfway and I still don't know what I'm doing." Transfer call: stays in Punta Ibáñez sector, keeps Hermana Soares. Elder's investigator Marcos was baptized; Kaitlynn sang "Come, Come Ye Saints" in Spanish. A woman they had dropped re-found and re-committed to the Book of Mormon. Zone volcano trip on P-day.
Week Highlights
Monday: Zone volcán trip; this time with their actual zone. No snow but still awesome.
Tuesday: Many lessons. Tomasito and his kids are among her favorites. "Miracle lesson" with a member reference (possibly Rey Julian and family; she expects them to be baptized).
Thursday: Best weekly planning session. Made cinnamon rolls. Powerful lesson with a woman they had previously dropped - she said: "I know it was a sign from God that you found me again and I really want the Book of Mormon!" "God is good!"
Friday: Got sunburnt - "HAY GOZO EN MI ALMA HOY!!!" [There is joy in my soul today!!!]
Saturday: Watched the baptism of Hermana Soares's investigator; via video call spotted Hermana Carol from Punta Arenas - emotional moment.
Sunday: Recent convert family came back to church. Elder's baptism of Marcos - Kaitlynn sang "Come, Come Ye Saints" in Spanish. Beautiful lesson on the Atonement. Transfer call: stay in Punta Ibáñez sector; Hermana Soares stays. "We about to baptize nations!!"
Spiritual Thought
Ether 12:11 - faith hath fulfilled the more excellent way. On the battle between pride and God's will. How to want what God wants: full conversion is a process. Romans 8:31, 38-39 - nothing can separate us from the love of God.
