Week 34. Baptism of Yilver (Saturday). P-day trip to Puerto Varas by train. Got her first Chilean tan - "darker than my Brazilian compi." Learning Portuguese from Hermana Soares. Halloween intercambios with Hermana Sabella; found a man by asking him to guess their "costume."

Week Highlights

Monday: Went to Puerto Varas by train. "I LOVE PUERTO VARAS." Bought her first termo [mate thermos] - specifically mentions Kristi with love when referencing it. Got a Chilean tan; now "darker than my Brazilian compi" (Hermana Soares).

Tuesday: Found 3 "elegidísimos" investigators; had a 1.5-hour lesson. When she bears testimony and lets God do His thing, the Spirit is strong even when her words are shaky.

Wednesday: Lesson with Tomasito (the long-talker). Learning Portuguese poco a poco from Hermana Soares - aiming to be trilingual.

Friday (Halloween - intercambios with Hermana Sabella): Chile has Halloween - called "pidiendo dulces" [asking for sweets]; saying is "dulce o truco." Handed out candy; found a man named Richard by asking him what he thought their "costume" was.

Saturday: BAUTISMO DE YILVER - third baptism from her mission.

Sunday: Fast Sunday. Rico pizza for lunch. Found Claudia - she had already read the Book of Mormon introduction before they even followed up.
