Snapshot

Christmas week. Three "P-days" in a row; itching to get back to work. Gave a new baptismal fecha to an investigator who had stopped meeting with them. Taught Lucio (a convert who jokes about them being American). Hermana Juncker gave Kaitlynn a "Best Mom" mug for Christmas. Scored a goal with her HEAD in fútbol. Interviews with Presidente Mackay on Friday.

Pensamiento

"We are the Lord's hands." The happiest people she's met on her mission are those who serve others even when their life is falling apart. Matthew 25:34-40; Mosiah 2:17. Recommends "What Have I Done for Someone Today?" (GC Oct 2009) and "This Day" (GC Apr 2007).

Week Highlights

Monday: 5-6 mile run (furthest she's run); bought new shoes for Hermana Juncker.

Tuesday: Plans fell through; said a prayer; replanned by inspiration; visited a woman they had stopped teaching weeks ago - miraculously she was home. She agreed to be baptized in January. "God is good!"

Wednesday: Visited convert Lucio - elderly, hard of hearing, poor memory. When they knocked, he told them he thought they'd gone back to the States. "He loves making fun of us." Helped prepare food for the zone dinner at member family Carlos and Victoria's home.

Thursday (Christmas): Made monkey bread. Zone Christmas party: gift exchange, games, Santa visit. "My favorite gift was from my daughter - she gave me a mug that says 'Best Mom.'"

Friday: Interviews with Presidente Mackay - "I love prezzy Mackay!" Soccer night. A borracho was there calling them Barbie. Scored a goal with her HEAD. "HNA SNOWDER I MADE A GOAL WITH MY HEAD."

Saturday: Many member visits. A member makes handrolls; plans to visit frequently.

Sunday: Greeted everyone as they came in. "I was smiling through the whole meeting because I was so happy. I love Jesus - go give someone a hug."
