Multi-week catchup, covering several weeks since the last email in late December 2025. One-year mark in the mission tomorrow (Feb 10, 2026). Hermana Juncker is about to finish her training transfer. Hiked Cerro Mackay today. An investigator who had been in drugs and dropped out of contact showed up at a baptism and is back with a baptismal date for the coming Sunday.

"I want to be more Christlike, I want to be a better person." Equation discussion: "Me + Patience = Christ" - but actually "Me + Christ = Enough / Patient / Happy / Loving / etc." Christ as the source, not the destination. Hebreos 12 - let go of what you want; let God direct. References three BYU talks (Elder Holland, Elder Eyring, Liz Wiseman).
Week Highlights
- Crazy couple of weeks. Went from finding 17 people in one week to barely finding anyone, to almost having 2 people with baptismal dates.
- Learned a lot about effective work and powerful, meaningful lessons.
- "We only have 2 weeks left in the cambio, I hit 1 year tomorrow, my hija is going to finish her training, life goes by super fast."
- Hiked Cerro Mackay today. Calves "were about to explode" on the way up; made it to the top.
- Investigator update: a man who had been struggling with drugs and living with his girlfriend stopped answering them; they stopped teaching him. Then he showed up at a different ward's baptism. The elders taught him; he received a baptismal date for this upcoming Sunday. "God is a God of miracles!"
Milestone
February 10, 2026 = 1 year in the mission. "I hit 1 year tomorrow."
