Dear Herrimanodaughter,

Nata talked in church and did awesome. She is a cutie.

Mason and Alexa played their last volleyball games. They were at the same time so we had to choose which child was more enjoyable to watch.

Bryson went to Institute twice. He's trying to cash in on the promise I made him on meeting someone through his doubling up in righteousness. It's going to work!

Dad's gold crown fell off of his tooth. I had a dilemma wondering if I should cash it in or let them glue it back on. Do you know the price of gold right now?!

Alexa went to the multi-stake dance last night. It was a failure. Remember when you used to go to state dances?

We cleaned the church yesterday morning. The only people that showed up were us and Brother Iverson. Don't worry we got it done. We are worker bees.

I cut off all of the leaves of my tulips. It is time to move to summer. I planted seeds this year instead of buying plants. We'll see if I'm a true Gardner.

I petted Belle for the second time ever. She started to purr. Am I the cat whisperer? Or was that a delusion cause it doesn't seem like it could be true.

I love you. I'm proud of you. Heavenly Father and Jesus love you.

Attached: Natalie's sacrament talk (5/17/26, temple ordinances and covenants)

Natalie spoke on "Temple ordinances and covenants give you greater access to God's blessings" (For the Strength of Youth, section 8), anchored on D&C 97:15-16. What she loves most about temples is the peace she feels just being near them, and that her temple recommend lets her access that peace anytime; keeping a recommend takes active work, and the hardest things are worth the most.

Her tender-mercy story: at the Saratoga Springs Temple (not their usual one) with Alexa, before Kristi arrived, a temple worker looked strikingly like their late Grandma Heywood - but had the strongest Irish accent Natalie had ever heard. Kristi went to investigate, got caught staring, and explained the resemblance. Later, as Natalie, Alexa, and Kristi waited in the chapel, this "angel grandma" came over, said she knew how proud their grandma was of them, that they were in the right place, gave them hugs "from grandma," and called herself their "angel grandma." Natalie testified of temples, of God's hand in small things, and of being willing to be God's servant - some days the temple worker, some days the one being served.
