Kaitlynn in the Chile Puerto Montt Mission

Kaitlynn Weekly Email - This is for you mom and dad ♡

June 1, 2026 · Puerto Montt, Chile

Snapshot

Kaitlynn's weekly email for the week ending June 1, 2026, written from Puerto Montt during her HLV term. Three highlights: her ward (which will hold the future Puerto Montt temple), the multi-zone conferences with visiting authority Elder Costa and Hermana Costa (the mission tour the prior calls anticipated; 202 missionaries split across 2-3 conferences), and her friend Camila coming to a testimony activity. The "Lil thought" is an invitation built on the enabling power of Jesus Christ: ask for the power to change your circumstances rather than to have your circumstances changed. Closes with a birthday shout-out to Natalie.

Email (reproduced verbatim)

Hey everybody!! Hows it going??

This week i've got a bit more time to write my email so she might be a bit chunky this week

Highlights-

☆ church! and my ward

Every week something new surprises me about our ward, they are incredible and so united in Christ. Its inspiring. This week we followed elder Costa's advuce to make the sacrament meeting the most special part of the week, and it was. The spirit was so strong and being in this ward especially helps. I have the blessing of being in the ward that will (when its built) have the temple! The Lord really does prepare His people.

☆ zone conference with elder and hermana costa

Revelation station for sure! I had the opportunity to be in both conferences for our mission (our mission currently has 202 missionaries and they are spread out supppper far so we have to seperate our multi-zone conferences into 2 or 3) and it was incredible to watch the spirit work through elder and hermana Costa, both of the conferences were different and based exactly on the needs of the missionaries present. God is so incredible, i also had the chance to have dinner with them and it was amazing, they are so much like Christ in EVERYTHING they do, the spirit is almost palpable with them

☆ our friend camila

She came to an activity about testimonys with sopaipillas (scones) and was in awe the whole time about the peace she felt, how loved she felt, the people, the messages, all of it. I love having the opportunity to teach these amazing people, God really is in charge and leads us when we let Him!!

Lil thought ♡

Gods plan is so perfect. His love is perfect. He is perfect. We have nothing to fear when we choose to put Him first in our lives. Going to church is one example. We don't go for anything other than Jesus. I've learned lots lately about the importance of the sacrament these past few weeks

When we are struggling we can trust in God, we can trust in the covenant that we made at baptism and are renewing and making again when we go to church, we can trust in the enabling power of Jesus Christ. Our Lord, our Savior who only will give us the best.

When you ask for the power to change your circumstances instead of to have your circumstances changed you will be blessing to keep going. You are choosing to let God prevail in your life by trusting in His power.

I invite all of you this week to try and trust more in the enabling power of Jesus Christ by asking for the power to change your circumstances instead of having your circumstances changed!

I LOVE YOU ALL!!

(shout out to my lil sis whos birthday it is today!! Luv ya nata!!)
