Kaitlynn's weekly email for the week ending June 8, 2026, written from Puerto Montt during her HLV term. Four highlights: a new woman named Jessica who is interested in the Church and said she would come to church Sunday; the "miracles of diligence" of finding many people when they put in the work; reuniting with her old companion Hermana Soares; and church again being a refuge during a hard-but-good week of learning to follow the Lord His way. The "Lil thought" is on the gift of repentance: she does not have to be perfect now or by the end of her mission, but can improve one percent a day, anchored on a Russell M. Nelson talk ("We Can Do Better and Be Better").

Hello besties how are we doin??

Highlights-

☆ jessica- we found a lady named jessica who is incredible! She has lots of interest in learning more about the church and told us she come to church this Sunday! ☆ miracles of diligence- we found SO MANY PEOPLE this week, when you put in the work God blesses your efforts ☆ i got to see my old companion hermana Soares!! she is the cutest ☆ church- like last week church is refuge, this week has been hard but good, i learned lots about following the Lord and doing it His way, not mine and i learned lots about repentance

Lil thought ♡

The beautiful gift of repentance. I love improving but, i love big jumps of progress without any bumps. Which is not how life works 🥲 But I've learned more about the beautiful gift of repentance that Jesus has made posible. I am not supposed to be perfect, not today, tomorrow, by the end of my mission, not in this life. But God has given me the beautiful gift of repentance to be able to improve 1% everyday. Just a little bit, but thats perfect for now.
